Writing update

The latest update in my wide, wonderful world of writing:

My BIG GIANT SECRET PROJECT that I’ve alluded to here and there over the past year and a half is almost done. I probably have two (maybe three) solid days of writing left before the book is finished. Hooray! Then, I’ll be editing it for a month or so. After that, I could use a test reader or two. If you’re interested in reading an awesome fictional book that may, or may not, involve historical elements, please contact me at EricNixonAuthor at the gmail email place. (A note, if you are interested: this is not for those who are casually interested, slow readers, people prone to procrastination, or lack access to an e-reader. I’ll send you more information on what I would need, if you would like to volunteer.)

But yeah, things are really happening with this book project. Just today I bought the web domain for the title, and have been working on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff for it.

On the poetry front, I added a li’l tab up above there as a way to keep people informed about the poetic goings on around here. Over the next six to eight months I’ll be putting out two more collections of poetry, a huge one with the remainder of my poetic output from 2002-2005, and another collection with all of the poems I will have written in 2012.

Very exciting times, indeed.
