Boston and Amherst

This Thursday, Kari will be doing an event at the Trident Bookshop in Boston (on Newbury Street). She will give a little talk about the book, answer questions, and sign books. After the event, she’s having an impromptu gathering with anyone who wants to join her at the Trident’s cafe (much wine and merriment will be had by all).

For those who are near Amherst this weekend, be sure to check out the Emily Dickinson Poetry Marathon, running from 3-8pm Friday, and 8am-6pm on Saturday. I had the huge honor of reading the first poem at last year’s event and, if you’re a fan of Emily’s poetry, it’s something that should not be missed.
