Almost there

News on the book front: the editing of my book, Emily Dickinson, Superhero – Vol. 1 is complete! I’m doing last minute tidying up with it, and the Kindle version should be available on Amazon sometime this week. The next step will be to make the iPad/Nook/etc versions and get those uploaded to the various online venues. Then, I’ll work on the print edition. I’ve already picked a printer, so it’s just a matter of tweaking the formatting, designing the back cover (done) and spine designs (not yet), and uploading it.

In non-book news: every morning millions of neighborhood squirrels would run along the dead branch in the above picture, jump onto the roof of the porch, and scamper past our window. The other day I did something about it. We didn’t have a ladder that was tall enough to get to the branch, so I figured out a way to bring the branch down to me. I tied a wrench to a rope, tossed it up, where it wrapped around the branch like a dream, and I pulled. With a dry, hearty crack, it snapped off and the squirrel highway was no more.

Sometimes, I’m pretty handy.
